Needle in a haystack

Post by fectin »

A while back, possibly as part of Frank's doubt RPG, someone posted a link to a wiki of supernatural objects. Does anyone remember what site that was?

I would suspect he linked to The SCP Foundation.

Peculiar properties of spacetime ensure that the perception of the magnitude of Soon is fluid and dependent, not on an individual's time-reference, but on spatial and cultural location. A marketer generally perceives Soon as a finite, known, yet unspeakable time-interval; to a fan, the interval appears greater, and may in fact approach the infinite, becoming Never. Once the interval has passed, however, a certain time-lensing effect seems to occur, and the time-interval becomes vanishingly small. We therefore see the strange result that the same fragment of spacetime may be observed, in quick succession, as Soon, Never, and All Too Quickly.

That place is awesome. There is a short walk-around-and-be-creeped-out game (two, actually) of SCP-087. One is kind of crappy, one is pretty creepy. Here is a video of a cowardly, incompetent, and kind of funny Swedish dude playing the better one.
